Non-Skid Additive: This is a grit that is dispersed onto the coating during the color flake application. It is sprinkled around the floor onto the wet basecoat. Once clearcoated the surface will remain glossy but will have the bumps left from the grit.

Groundworks: This is a powder that is poured into the topcoat and mixed in. It can matte out the surface, but it provides a subtle non-skid texture.
