We several different types
of flooring systems depending on your application; industrial-grade solventborne epoxy kits, 100% solids
kits, polyaspartic coatings and much more. These kits are more commercial-type coating systems that are designed to
fulfill whatever type of situation. Due to the variables involved in designing a kit to a specified application, they are currently not available
online.
Here at Original Color Chips, we believe there is no miracle product. There are systems that work. A system is a combination of
products applied in succession to “cover your bases” on a coating: adequate penetration (for adhesion), adequate build (for
longer wearability), and proper Clearcoat (for desired smoothness or uv-resistance). For example, our solvent-borne kits consist of a
primer/sealer designed simply to insure the best possible
adhesion of the subsequent coating. Equally effective at penetrating, reinforcing, and sealing concrete, It improves the effectiveness and
efficiency of the epoxy/urethane coating by deep penetrating and creating a vapor barrier therefore improving the service life of the
maintenance system. After the primer has cured, a High
Solids Basecoat Epoxy (77% solids), and a High Performance Urethane Clearcoat
(superior UV-Resistance and Chemical Resistance- used in Auto Service Centers,
Warehouse, etc) are applied, offering
build and chemical resistance.
